Using Essential Oils
Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts; for instance, one drop of peppermint oil equals 15-40 cups of tea. A drop or two is often sufficient.
There are various ways to enjoy aromatherapy:
Diffusers and Burners
- Electronic diffusers: Disperse a fine mist of oils in water with no heat. (recommended)
- Oil burners: Gently heat oils in water to release aromas quickly.
- Reed diffusers: High concentration oils that can be refreshed by rotating reeds.
Blends like Motivate, Love, and Happy enhance positive energy, while Focus aids concentration.
Skin Application
Essential oils are absorbed by the skin. Our ROLL ONS are diluted and 3% in coconut oil for safe application.
Massage with 1-2 drops of essential oil mixed with 1 tablespoon of coconut or almond oil can relieve muscle pain and reduce stress. Recommended blends include Relax, Love, and Sleep.
Baths and Steam Inhalation
- Hot baths improve blood flow and can reduce stress. Add a 2-3 drops to a cup of sea salt, a drop of oil and mix.
- Steam inhalation: Boil 2-3 cups of water, add 2-5 drops of oil, and inhale the steam for sinus and skin benefits. Ideal blends include Breathe, Balance, Focus, and Motivate.
Tips & Cautions
- Do not apply essential oils directly to the skin or ingest them.
- Keep away from eyes and store out of reach of children.
- Consult a medical professional if you have health concerns or are pregnant.
- Use oils sparingly to avoid sensitivities. They enhance well-being but are not a substitute for traditional medicine. Ensure good airflow when using a burner.
